Murder suspect arrested

A 40-year-old man was arrested Friday in connection with a June 14 shooting death.

Ravanell Gomillion was charged with Murder, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Crime and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon in the incident that left Eurl Kittles, 42, dead at the Captain D’s at 3166 Wrightsboro Rd., according to an email Sgt. William McCarty of the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.

He was shot at least one time, according to Richmond County Coroner Mark Bowen and pronounced dead on the scene according to earlier reports.
