As the dog days of summer wane into chilly autumn nights, our palates yearn for more seasonally appropriate cocktails. But before you relegate your Bermuda shorts + strappy sundresses to the back of your closet, catch some tropical vibes from the newly launched fall drink menu at Pineapple Ink Tavern, sure to transport you straight to Havana.

The Cuban iteration of Pineapple Ink Tavern may look a little different, but something that has remained constant is their famously potent cocktails crafted from high-end liquors.

Jason’s current tantalizing array of mixed drinks welcomes autumn with open arms. I was fortunate to have been made privy to its unveiling, each concoction in its own elevated stemware, including fizzy options, extra chilly tall options, autumnal spiced options, and creamy lip-smacking delights. Which will you be reaching for first?

🍹Upon your first sip of the Havana Blizzard, you may mistake it as simply a riff on a mojito. Think again. It starts with a pour of golden Limited Edition Bacardi Ocho, which has been finished in a sherry cask. To that Jason adds lime + spanked mint, then a splash of Zirbenz, lending a subtle maturity with its hints of crisp pine. Garnished with rosemary + mint, there’s no doubt this lady’s full set of hips can properly shake a rumba.

🍹The Noble Hospitality, a traditional Cuban cocktail, smacks of a light and refreshing ocean breeze. It consists of white tequila, pineapple juice + an ephemeral spritz of mezcal. A splash of uniquely bitter Aperol evokes island vibes that leave you longing for yet another day in paradise.

🍹 The Mariposa, with its hue-driven Blue Curaçao, pays homage to Cuba’s cerulean blue waters. Named after the country’s national flower, this Bombay Sapphire + elderflower cocktail begs to be enjoyed while digging your toes into the island’s pristine white beaches.

🍹Pineapple Sunset Send your mouth on vacation with this sweet + beachy ombré cocktail.

🍹Apple Pie made with Crown Apple. It is reminiscent of bobbing for apples and immensely yummy!

🍹By the Fire is a chocolaty cocktail with its own toasted marshmallow.

🍹Cuban Cocoa is a creamy glass of dessert with caramel and a coconut rim.

🍹Pumpkin PIT is a delightfully seasonal blend of coconut cream, whipped cream vodka and a dusting of nutmeg.
