Time is running out for attorneys interested in being the first District Attorney for Georgia’s newest judicial circuit to apply for the job.
Governor Brian Kemp will appoint the new DA and is accepting nominations for the position. Information is listed on the Georgia Bar Association’s website: Job Listings (gabar.org)
A spokesman for the Governor’s Office says nomination are being accepted through the close of regular business hours on Thursday, April 14, 2021.

The spokesman said, “We’ve received three applications thus far.” He did not provide the names of those who have applied.
It’s anticipated that former U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Georgia Bobby Christine and former Augusta Judicial Circuit District Attorney Natalie Paine will apply for consideration.
