The Aiken County Public School District (ACPSD) has recently named Casey Rogers as the new principal of North Augusta High School (NAHS). Rogers is an alumnus of NAHS.

“As a North Augusta High School graduate, being appointed as principal has special meaning,” said Rogers. “It is the culmination of a lifelong pursuit to give back to the community I love.”

Rogers began his education career as a teacher at Darlington Middle School in 2009. He taught for several years there before moving to Darlington High School. Rogers returned to Aiken County in 2016 and taught at Langley-Bath Clearwater (LBC) Middle School.

Rogers moved up to assistant principal of LBC Middle School in 2018 and moved up to their principal in 2020. He led LBC to a “Good” report card rating, their highest rating ever. In 2023, he moved to Paul Knox Middle School as their principal. Rogers led Paul Knox to an “Excellent” report card rating, their highest rating ever.

This past school year, Rogers received a nomination for the Principal of the Year Award for the District.

“I am looking forward to working with families I have known and loved for years and meeting new families in our community,” said Rogers. “I could not be more excited to collaborate with our school community to pursue excellence together and help students achieve their goals. Go Jackets!”

The ACPSD has named Kristin Risher as the interim principal of Paul Knox Middle School. She served as an assistant principal of NAHS since 2018.
