A traffic signal installed at the intersection of Harlem Grovetown Road at Old Louisville Road entered into flash mode on Wednesday, July 10.

Drivers will see yellow flashing signal heads on Harlem Grovetown Road and red flashing on Old Louisville Road. The flashing yellow means drivers need to proceed with caution through the intersection when approaching on Harlem Grovetown Road and the red means drivers need to stop when approaching on Old Louisville Road.

“These rules apply until the signal is fully operational. Weather permitting, the signalized intersection will enter full stop-and-go mode on Monday, July 15,” Columbia County said in a press release.

There will be message boards alerting drivers to the signal changes. Drivers are to use caution when approaching the intersection due to this change.
