News Brief: Augusta West Rotary Announces Slate of Officers for 2021-2022

The Augusta West Rotary Club announced its new board of directors and officers for 2021-2022. 

Newly elected officers will take their positions July 1. They include retired Brig. Gen. Welton Chase, president; Mark Dotson, president-elect; Lisa Mayo, president nominee/membership chair; Jimmy Buchanan, treasurer; Kelly Knitter, secretary; Brandon Burnside, past president; Rich Laschober, sergeant of arms/social roster; Bill Hamilton, club program chair; Jeff Anderson, rotary foundation chair; Frank Spear, public image chair; and Bryan Tuschen, Rotaract/community service chair.

Augusta West was chartered in May 1963. Club meetings are from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. the first and third Thursday of each month at the West Lake Country Club.

Rotary is a global organization. Its work improves lives at both the local and international levels, from helping families in need in their own communities to working toward a polio-free world, according to a news release.
