Two Augusta-area businesses are featuring unusual new seating this month as part of a statewide effort to spark conversations about colon cancer and the importance of early detection.
More than 70 eighth-grade girls from seven surrounding counties will gather at the Ruth Patrick Science Education Center on Saturday, Nov. 15, for Savannah River Nuclear Solutions’ (SRNS) annual “STEM Like a Girl – Introduce a Girl to Engineering and Information Technology (IT)” event.
