The outcome of Tuesday elections in North Augusta has been reviewed by the Municipal Election Commission during a Thursday meeting.
The meeting included a hearing on the two provisional ballots that were accepted. The Commission accepted those ballots and sent them to the Aiken County Board of Registration and Elections for review.
The signed certification letter is expected to be given to city council at the upcoming meeting on Monday.

The provisional ballots did not change the initial results that were announced Tuesday night.
In the Mayor’s race, Republican Briton Williams defeated Democrat Richard Adams 2230 to 860.
In the lone contested seat on city council Republican newcomer topped Democrat Trina Mackie, also a newcomer, 2,329 to 993. The vacancy was the result of Councilman Fletcher Dickert not running for re-election.
Republican incumbent Councilmembers Pat Carpenter and David McGhee ran unopposed.
