A man who admitted to throwing tires onto Riverwatch Parkway pleaded guilty Tuesday, March 29, to two misdemeanor charges.
Cory A. Lynch, 43, pleaded guilty in Columbia County Superior Court to reckless conduct and unlawful dumping. He was sentenced to two years on probation.
Residents complained to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office about someone tossing old tires on the 4000 block of Riverwatch Parkway in Martinez, and investigators tracked down video to identify who was responsible, said Assistant District Attorney Kevin Majeska.
Defense attorney Ricardo Bravo said Lynch, who had never been in legal trouble before, got swept up in a juvenile and irresponsible stunt on Nov. 16, 2020. He takes full responsibility and is extremely remorseful, Bravo said.
