Daniel Burke is in custody and has been charged with the murder off Quidarius Collins, age 25, from Lincolnton, Ga.
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting at the Norris Place Apartments at 1931 Murphy Road, and found Collins had been shot. Collins was transported to Augusta University Medical Center and later died from his injuries.
Burke was detained on the scene and has been charged.
Norris Place apartments was the scene of another shooting on June 21, 2022.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, this is an ongoing investigation and no further information available at this time.
