A pedestrian died Monday after being struck by a vehicle heading eastbound on Gordon Highway.
Around 2:54 p.m., Richmond County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 1200 block of Gordon Highway.
The pedestrian died on the scene, according to an email from the coroner’s office. An autopsy is scheduled. The identity of the pedestrian is being held pending notification of next of kin.
