The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Division is investigating a pedestrian fatality accident on the 2800 block of Meadowbrook Drive. Both eastbound and westbound traffic on Meadowbrook Drive is being detoured through neighborhood streets. We are asking the public to avoid the area if possible.
The Coroner’s Office is responding to the scene and deputies are in the early stages of the investigation, according to an email from Sgt. William McCarty.
Deputies received the call at 12:33 p.m.
