On Sunday, Sept. 28, 2025, more than 2,000 athletes took on the challenge of the Ironman 70.3 Augusta, pushing their physical and mental limits across a grueling 70.3 mile course. This year’s Ironman 70.3 Augusta was a test of endurance that draws competitors from across the nation.

The race began with a 1.2 mile swim in the swift current of the Savannah River, followed by a 56 mile bike ride through the scenic roads of North Augusta, SC. Athletes then ran 13.1 miles that carried them from North Augusta, S.C. across the river and into the heart of downtown Augusta to cross the finish line.
