With tractors and trucks decorated in festive lights, Harlem celebrated the Christmas season with a 6 p.m. parade and giant tree lighting on Saturday, Dec. 9.

As participants threw candy to awaiting children, parents smiled and waved to passersby while admiring vintage cars and farming equipment sporting Christmas lights, inflatables and stickers.

Afterwards, a special Christmas tree lighting ceremony was held which featured children singing holiday songs, Santa and Mrs. Claus and an outdoor showing of the film “Rise of the Guardians.”
