Augusta University’s men’s and women’s basketball teams took a pair of games from Peach Belt Conference rival University of South Carolina Aiken Wednesday at Christenberry Fieldhouse.

The women’s teams took to the courts first with the Jaguars outpacing the Pacers 71-64 and lifting their record to 10-7 overall and 3-5 in the Peach Belt, while the Pacers fell to 7-9 overall and 3-5 in the conference.

The Jaguars continued their season domination in the men’s game by defeating the Pacers 73-52. The Jags are now 15-3 overall and 5-3 in the conference. The Pacers are now 12-6 overall and 6-2 in the conference.

The Jags next game is at home against Clayton State University at 1:30 (women’s) and 3:30 p.m. Saturday.  The Pacers will host North Georgia Saturday with the women’s match at 1:30 p.m. followed by the men at 3:30 p.m.
