NORTH AUGUSTA – The area’s biggest tailgating event was held at SRP Park Friday.

Border Bash, which raises money for children’s charities, brings out University of Georgia and University of South Carolina fans prior to the big college rivalry.

Hairy Dog, Georgia’s mascot, and Cocky, Carolina’s mascot attended the game as did cheerleading squads for both teams.

Also, there was a full slate of games and other activities and multiple bands took the stage.
