Reporter Scott Hudson and his wife Jeannie share some of the delights of the season that they encountered as they spent Sunday, Dec. 18 evening exploring Columbia County in search of the Christmas spirit.

They found skaters at Evans Town Center and others enjoying the light displays there, and they also found a couple of spectacularly decorated lawns. They share the pictures here.

Town Center Park in Columbia County is ablaze in lights from one end of the park to the other. According to a posted sign, the tallest Christmas Tree in the nation is 221 feet tall, Columbia County’s tree measures 50 feet and has a dazzling LED tree nearby that is almost as tall.
