The Evans Knights took a homecoming night victory defeating crosstown rival Grovetown 42-20.
Joe Hampton helped lead the offense by rushing for three touchdowns in the first half.
With the victory, Evans moves to 5-1, while Grovetown falls to 1-5.
Evans next matchup is a home game against Lakeside Oct. 15; Grovetown’s next game is at Alcovy in Covington on Oct. 15.
