After being postponed due to weather, the city of Grovetown was able to hold its Christmas festival and tree lighting on Friday, Dec. 8.

Before the tree lighting, attendees were able to enjoy browsing the different vendors, while kids could play in the jump house, ride the train and visit Santa and Mrs. Claus. But the most popular attraction seemed to be the non-toxic fake snow that kids could jump and run around in.

Entertainment was provided by Elvis and a dance group before the countdown to the tree lighting at 8 p.m.
