Golfers are flocking to Augusta this week, and it’s not just the professionals coming to town to tee off.
The Augusta University men’s golf team is the host for the annual Augusta Haskins Award Invitational presented by Valspar at Forest Hills Golf Club.
The 54-hole tournament saw college golfers playing 36 holes on April 2.
In addition to Augusta University, players from several universities including University of Illinois, University of Texas, University of Alabama, University of South Carolina, Oklahoma State University and Navy are competing for the trophy.
The tournament’s final 18 will be played Sunday. Admission is free to the tournament, according to a news release from Augusta University.
