The Godfather of Soul’s tradition of giving out presents at Christmas continued Saturday as members of the James Brown Family Foundation distributed toys in the parking lot of the James Brown Arena.
The foundation held its Thanksgiving giveaway under rainy conditions, and volunteers were out in the misty morning once again to make sure children had gifts this holiday season.
Bryan Williams and his superhero group were at the event to spread a few additional smiles.
