T.W. Josey and Butler High Schools split a pair of basketball games Friday at Butler.
Last year’s state champion Josey girls’ team continued to put up wins on the board as the Eagles defeated Butler 55-26.
The Eagles upped their record to 16-5 overall, 10-1 in Region 4AA.
In boys’ action, the Butler Bulldogs continued their strong season by defeating Josey 60-27.
The Bulldogs are now 15-5 overall and remain undefeated in Region 4AA at 12-0.
The Bulldogs next match is at home Tuesday against Jefferson County. As for the Eagles, they travel to Putnam County Tuesday.
Both teams will end the regular season Feb. 11.
