Photojournalism: Junior Varsity Basketball Championships

Richmond County’s top junior varsity teams battled it out Thursday at Lucy C. Laney High School for the championship titles.

In the girls’ matchup, it was T.W. Josey High School defeating Hephzibah High School with a score of 37-27.  

The Josey and Hephzibah girls advanced to the title match after wins Wednesday over Laney and Cross Creek respectively.

The boys’ game pitted the Butler Bulldogs against the  Cross Creek Razorbacks with the Bulldogs coming out on top 56-33.

Butler and Cross Creek made it to the finals after defeating Westside and Josey respectively.
