There was a flood in downtown Saturday – not caused by overflow of the banks of the Savannah River, but a sea of pink in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and in honor of survivors.
After two years of hosting the Miracle Mile Walk as a drive-thru event, the Piedmont Foundation held an in-person 3-mile fun walk, Saturday, Oct. 15.
The 22nd annual event raised money for breast cancer screenings in the area.
