In the second round of the Class AAAA South Carolina Football State Championships on Nov. 11, Catawba Ridge High School won 37-14 against North Augusta High School.
At a game jam-packed with passes, tackles, runs and dives, both teams played hard with Catawba leading 14-7 at the half, and eventually winning with a stark lead.
Despite the loss, North Augusta’s head coach Matt Quinn praised his team afterward for the hard-fought game and thanked his players for giving their all this season.
