The cheering home crowd couldn’t distract Andrue Aguilera of Carolina University as he took to the free throw line and nailed a basket with just over a second left on the clock to push the Bruins over the Paine College Lions 61-60 Tuesday at the HEAL Complex.

The Lions held the lead for most of the game, but the Bruins battled back for the victory.

This is the second matchup against the two teams this season, and Carolina University, a private college in Winston-Salem, N.C., has won both matches. The Bruins won the first match 84-72 on Jan. 25.
