The main theme of this collection, titled “Sharing This Moment,” is maintaining connections “during a time of isolation and being apart due to a pandemic.” The pieces of this collection are canvases painted in watercolor by another local artist, Jennifer Sparling, and drawn on in ink by Boland. Most of the work in the gallery is collaborative, indicative of the importance Boland places on building friendships in the artistic community.

Martyn Turner, another Augusta creative, specializes in photography. She worked with Boland to create pieces where his characters are put into ordinary locations around Augusta.

If you visit the gallery and make a $1 donation, you can fill out a raffle card to possibly win this giant “Garden Monster.” Donations will go towards purchasing materials for the Jessye Norman School of Arts’ garden.

A birthday boy who didn’t have any guests at his party, Waylon is trying to make the best of things. This is another of Boland’s favorites.

Another collaborative piece, this triptych titled “Flow” was created by Boland and Alex Sigers, who is also an Augusta local.
