Photojournalism: Silver Bluff Stomps Edisto to Win Region

The Silver Bluff Bulldogs clinched the South Carolina 5AA Region title Friday night as they dominated Edisto 55-0 on their home turf.

The Bulldogs end the regular season with a perfect record of 8-0 with a 4-0 region record.

The drubbing of Edisto was nothing new for Silver Bluff which repeatedly tallied high scores during the course of the season. The team shut out four additional opponents on the season, beating South Aiken 40-0 on Aug. 20; Aiken 30-0 on Sept. 3; Fox Creek 41-0; and Midland Valley 43-0.

Opponents only scored a total of 41 points the entire regular season.
