NORTH AUGUSTA – Crosstown Peach Belt Conference rivals met on neutral ground Wednesday at SRP Park.

The University of South Carolina Aiken Pacers beat the Augusta University Jaguars 7-5.

The Pacers are 5-8 in the conference and 12-18 overall. They will play Claflin at home Friday and host a doubleheader Saturday. The Jags are winless in the conference 0-10 and 10-18 overall. The Jags head to Greenwood for a three-game series against Lander University. The two teams will play at 6 p.m. Friday and meet in a doubleheader Saturday afternoon.
