The Southeastern Punk Flea Market came to Augusta over the weekend, bringing together a wide of artists, artisans, musicians and unconventional vendors to celebrate alt culture.
Augusta’s iteration of the punk-themed bazaar set up shop at the Doubletree Hotel at 2651 Perimeter Pkwy Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Based in Greenville, S.C., the Southeastern Punk Flea Market started some 10 years ago and tours throughout the region, coming to Augusta in 2022. Organizers estimated the event drew some 700 people came as of Saturday afternoon, including kids under 12, who get in free.

Skyler Andrews is a bona fide native of the CSRA; born in Augusta, raised in Aiken, with family roots in Edgefield County, S.C., and presently residing in the Augusta area.
