Columbia County Fire Rescue hosted its annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb with Remembrance Ceremony in honor of Sept. 11 on Thursday morning. Firefighters and community members climbed 55 flights of stairs to symbolizing the 110 flights of the World Trade Center. For the second year, Evans High School students in the firefighter pathway program participated in the stair climb as well.
