In a battle of Bulldogs, Georgia came up short in a Southeastern Conference men’s basketball game against visiting Mississippi State at Stegeman Coliseum in Athens, Ga., on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025. The #22 ranked visiting Bulldogs defeated Georgia, 76-75, in a game that went to the final possession. Georgia guard Silas Demery Jr. led all scorers with 23 points while guard Josh Hubbard led Mississippi State with 16 points.  Georgia will be back in action on Tuesday, Feb. 11, as they travel to #13 Texas A&M for a key road game before returning to Stegeman Coliseum on Saturday, Feb. 15, for a home game against Missouri.
