President McCorn to deliver 100-Day address at Paine College

Paine College President Lester A. McCorn will deliver a public Presidential Address on April 15 at 11 a.m., marking his first 100 days in office.

The event, open to students, faculty and the greater Augusta community, will be held at the Heal Complex on campus, located at 1255 Druid Park Ave.

During his address, President McCorn will reflect on accomplishments from his first three months in leadership, sharing progress on new academic majors, institutional partnerships, and strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the student experience.

He is also expected to provide updates on enrollment trends and future projections, according to a press release from Paine College.

“We are excited to share our journey over the past 100 days and discuss the opportunities that lie ahead for Paine College,” McCorn said. “My commitment to this college and the communities we serve remains steadfast, and I look forward to collaborating with students, faculty, and stakeholders as we move forward together.”

McCorn, who previously served as president of Clinton College, brings a record of strong leadership, student advocacy, and community engagement to Paine College.

“President McCorn brings a wealth of experience to Paine College, having previously served as president of Clinton College, where he demonstrated a strong commitment to student success and community engagement,” stated a press release from Paine College.
