Private Eyes pays tribute to Hall and Oates

With song such as “Maneater,” “You Make My Dreams,” “Sara Smile” and “Private Eyes,” Daryl Hall and John Oates started in the pop music scene in 1970.

The band “Private Eyes” will be at the Jabez Sanford Hardin Performing Arts Center for two nights bringing the hits of this pop duo to life.

Formed in 2018 by Chris Willshire, who is also the band’s music director and bassist, Private Eyes features Mark Wilson singing Daryl Hall.

Wilson has sung with “Frankie Valli as one of the Four Seasons, serving as an opening act with the Marcels for Tina Turner, and contributing background vocals for John Denver & Garth Brooks. He has also been a member of the Grammy-nominated Los Angeles Jazz Choir,” according to the Private Eyes website.

Nate Beausoleil brings John Oates to life. He met Willshire while working on the HGTV shows Flip or Flop and House Hunters.

“Nate is an in-demand Field Audio Engineer for various HGTV shows, as well as for indie films and documentaries. Nate also keeps busy editing and mixing audio for a variety of clients and projects,” according to his bio at the Private Eyes website.

Private Eyes features its own band backing the duo. Private Eyes will be in concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday.
