Queensborough National Bank was named one of Georgia Business Journal’s “Best of Georgia” winners in the banks category. The award was given on Monday, Dec. 12.

Readers and editors of Georgia Business Journal evaluated thousands of businesses and organizations from more than 25 business categories.

Best of Georgia winners are also vetted through several ranking sites , Better Business Bureau complaint reports and voting pattern analysis reports.

“Each year, Georgia’s best businesses are selected based on a mix of public opinion and expert insight. The highly-anticipated annual poll honors companies that have committed themselves to delivering the best products and services for Georgians.” said Becky Helms, Georgia Business Journal Client Success Manager.

Queensborough National Bank Senior Vice President Adam Harris works out of the West Augusta location at 3617 Walton Way Extension. Harris said he believes Queensborough bank stands out from its competitors because of its “great customer service” across the region and technological innovations, such as the Interactive Teller Machine (ITM).

The new Interactive Teller Machines were installed to serve customers better outside regular business hours. These machines can provide the same assistance to clients that they would receive by going into a branch, Harris said.

As the economy continues to change and interest rates keep rising, Queensborough has adjusted by not changing how they deliver customer service and make decisions and producing quick responses for their customers with technology. Though they are continuing to look for more technologically innovative methods to provide quicker and more convenient service, Harris said that the business has considered itself very lucky as they end 2022 with a 15% increase in loan volume.

“It really speaks on the quality of business, talent in our office, and our overall customer service,” said Harris.
