Queensborough National Bank & Trust has announced the promotion of Nick Blume to Augusta region manager and senior vice president.

In his new role, Blume will oversee all banking activities for seven Augusta-area branches, including Fury’s Ferry Road, West Augusta, Tobacco Road, Evans, Martinez, Enterprise Mill and Grovetown locations.

Blume, who brings 23 years of banking experience, has spent the past nine years with Queensborough. A native of Augusta, he graduated from Augusta University’s Hull College of Business in 2007 and completed the Leadership Augusta program in 2015. He also graduated with honors from the Georgia Banking Association’s Georgia Banking School in 2022.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Blume is deeply involved in the Augusta community. In 2016, he was a candidate for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Man of the Year.

He has also served as treasurer for both the Augusta Training Shop and the Augusta Historical Society and has been a board member for Turn Back the Block. He is also an active member of the Church of the Good Shepherd.

“Nick’s extensive banking experience, proven leadership skills, and deep roots in the Augusta community make him the ideal person to lead our Augusta metro market,” said Augusta Market President for Queensborough Adam Harris. “We are confident that his vision and dedicated leadership will continue to drive success for our customers and team members.”
