Robert Mize, vice president and commercial banker at Queensborough National Bank & Trust, has been recognized as one of the Top 10 Young Professionals to Watch in 2025 by the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce and “Augusta Magazine.”
The honor celebrates his significant contributions to both the banking industry and the Augusta community, according to a press release from Queensborough Bank.
Mize, who has been with Queensborough since 2018, expressed his gratitude for the recognition.
“In my role as a community banker, I have the privilege of working alongside business owners to provide solutions that help their businesses thrive. When our local businesses succeed, our entire community prospers,” he said. “It’s an honor to be recognized among such a talented and dedicated group of young professionals who care deeply about making a difference.”
Since joining Queensborough, Mize has quickly risen through the ranks, earning his current role as Vice President, Commercial Banker, according to a press release from Queensborough Bank.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Columbus State University and is a 2024 graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at LSU.
Beyond his professional work, Mize is an accomplished golfer. He was a member of the PGA Tour Latin America in 2018, a two-time All-American in college, and won the Georgia Amateur in 2014. He remains an active participant in amateur golf events.
Mize is also deeply engaged in the Augusta community. He volunteers with several local organizations, including Golden Harvest Food Bank, United Way and The Salvation Army Red Kettle campaign.
Additionally, he contributes to local education as a guest speaker at Heritage Academy’s Career Week, according to a press release from Queensborough Bank.
The Top 10 in 10 Young Professionals to Watch list, established in 2009, highlights young professionals, aged 25-35, who are making a significant impact in the Augusta region.
