RCSO Investigating Reports of Girls Being Blackmailed Into Sex by Local Gang

KYADIAR OLIVER

Date: August 30, 2021

Two teenagers have been charged with sex crimes against a local girl.

Kyadiar Oliver, 16, has been charged as an adult with rape and aggravated child molestation. Another juvenile, 14, has been charged as a juvenile for Child Exploitation and Computer Pornography.

The arrests come after a report from a local Augusta woman that her granddaughter was blackmailed into having sex using a video of her giving oral sex.

In conjunction with The Austin Rhodes Show, The Jail Report started looking into claims Sunday that a local gang is using sex videos to blackmail young girls for sex.

Pamela Cummings told The Jail Report on Sunday that her 14-year-old granddaughter was the victim of the scheme.

A sheriff’s report, obtained Monday, Aug. 30, reads that the juvenile girl “had a sexual encounter with an unknown black juvenile male that she had communication with over Instagram.”

The unknown juvenile snuck out of his house so that they could meet last week. They met behind a house, where the suspect told her he had a video of her having a “sexual encounter” with another boy. He “threatened to spread the video if she refused to engage in sexual activity with him,” the report says.

The juvenile reportedly had sex and then ran home. The girl ended up at Doctors Hospital for a rape kit.

Richmond County authorities say more information is expected in the form of another incident report.

Meanwhile, Cummings has gone on social media to warn others about the scheme.

“These boys need to be accountable for what they are doing,” she said Sunday afternoon, while crying. “This is so evil. This is terrible.”

Cummings said her granddaughter is a special-needs student with the mind of a 9 year old.

“She believes everyone to be honest and she trusts everyone,” Cummings said. “She just got in a very bad situation.”

She said the sex crimes started a few weeks ago. The granddaughter met a boy on the bus. He talked her into coming to his house. His stepdad rolled marijuana and gave it to the boy and the victim. While she was high, the boy talked the girl into giving him oral sex, which he filmed, Cummings said.

Cummings said the boy then passed the video to a friend, who used the video against the victim, telling her that if she didn’t meet him, the video would “go viral.”

A school district spokeswoman, Lynthia Ross, released this statement: “Last week, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office arrested two Glenn Hills High School students. The charges were related to incidents that occurred outside of school hours and away from school grounds. Following Richmond County Board of Education Code of Student Conduct and Discipline, the students have been withdrawn from school pending adjudication of their cases. After which, the students will be required to complete the tribunal hearing process.”

Meanwhile, Cummings said she posted about the crimes and other girls started contacting her.

“These little girls are being forced into giving blow jobs,” she said. “Videos are given to Meadowbrook Boys, and the gangs approach the girls. ‘I saw your video. If you don’t want it to go viral, you have to do this.’”
