Richmond County coroner investigates suspicious death

The Richmond County Coroner’s Office is investigating a suspicious death.

Isolde Dipofi, 89, of 3005 Bramblewood Trail, was pronounced dead at 3:24 p.m. Tuesday at his residence, according to a news release from Mark Bowen, Richmond County coroner. It appeared Dipofi had been dead for several hours prior to the coroner being called to the scene.

Dipofi’s body has been sent to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation crime laboratory for an autopsy.

Richmond County Code Enforcement was notified due to the living conditions at the residence.
