Richmond County Coroner’s Office responds to death of a child

The Richmond County Coroner’s Office responded to the death of a child Tuesday morning on the 2200 block of Ward Ave.

According to Coroner Mark Bowen, when authorities arrived Trae’son Dunn, 16 months old, was found inside the residence and pronounced dead at 5:15 a.m. A second child was taken by EMS to the Children’s Hospital. The condition of the second child is unknown.

An autopsy has been scheduled for the child who died.

This is an active investigation and no further information is available at this time.
