A total of 198 crimes tracked by The Augusta Press were reported to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office during the week of Nov. 2-8, including the slaying of a teenager.

Donald Haugabook, 17, was fatally shot on Nov. 5 at the Number One Mobile Home Park, 3073 Deans Bridge Road.

Other violent crimes included four robberies, a kidnapping of an adult, and 72 assaults. Five of those assaults were classified as aggravated and 30 were determined to be family violence battery.

Property crimes during the week wee nine burglaries, 36 cases of property damage, six vehicle break-ins, and 47 thefts.
