During the week of June 25–July 1, a total of 277 crimes were tracked by The Augusta Press from the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
Violent crimes included 87 cases of simple assault and two cases of aggravated assault, in addition to nine cases of criminal trespassing and 108 cases of larceny were reported.
