Richmond County deputies seek unidentified man for questioning

Richmond County deputies are searching for an unidentified white male in reference to a theft that occurred Dec. 25 on the 2000 block of Division Street.

Surveillance footage showed the suspect entering two vehicles using a bandana to open the vehicle doors, according to the incident report.

Upon entering the first vehicle, a red jeep, the suspect found the glove box locked and moved on to a second Jeep where he removed a Kershaw pocketknife with a 4-inch blade, one Apple SD card reader and one sleeve of Wintergreen Copenhagen pouches.

A pair of reading glasses in a black case were initially reported as missing as well but were later found on the ground next to the vehicle.
