Richmond County Sherriff’s Office searching for armed robbery suspect

Date: December 12, 2022

Richmond County Sherriff’s Office is asking everyone to be on the lookout for a suspect in a recent robbery of the Lucky Spot convenience store located at 1119 James Brown Blvd on Saturday, Dec. 10. An unknown white male came into the store wearing a black mask and a gray hoodie covering his head and face. Store clerk Kaywanna Moore asked the suspect to remove the hoodie from his head when he told her to, “Give me the money.” Moore said she thought the suspect was playing a joke until he pulled a knife out at her and jumped over the counter. Moore gave the suspect the cash she had on hand at the time.

Billy Lockhart a nearby witness said he was sitting in a corner when the robbery occurred. Lockhart said the suspect did not see him sitting in the corner until he stood up. This is when the suspect ran out of the store.

Surveillance from the stores show that the suspect is a white male with a bald head. He was seen wearing a plaid black and red jacket over a gray hoodie as he entered the store.
