A student at Riverside Middle School was found to be in possession of a multi-tool, also known as a Swiss Army knife, on Tuesday, Nov. 12.
“The student voluntarily reported the tool and turned it over to administration. There was no threat made to the school, students or staff,” said a letter from the school to parents. “Safety is a top priority and we take reports of this nature extremely serious and will investigate fully.”
Parents and guardians are asked to speak with their students about what is and isn’t appropriate to bring to school.
