Augusta officials have closed and shifted certain lanes on Riverwatch Parkway to accommodate Masters Tournament traffic.
A statement from the city public information office said the shifts and closures “have been installed” on Riverwatch at Topgolf Way and Cabela Drive. Drivers should use extra caution, the statement said. They will remain in place through the tournament, which ends Sunday, They will remain “throughout the tournament,” which ends April 9.
The city implements an elaborate system of detours, one-way routes and lane closures during the tournament and practice rounds to accommodate the crush of motorists who drive in and out each day.
