The USA Cycling Masters and Junior Road National Championship Criterium will take place in Augusta from Thursday, July 25 until Sunday, July 28.
The cycling championships will take place at Fort Eisenhower from Thursday, July 25 until Saturday, July 27 and will not affect roads or parking throughout Augusta.
On Sunday, July 28, the cycling championship will take place in downtown Augusta and will affect roads and parking. The cycling championship will start at 4:30 a.m. and will end at 7:30 p.m. The race will start at Augusta Commons.
The following are the affected roads and lanes that will be closed:
- Broad St. side of Augusta Common from 9th-7th, westbound lanes only
- Reynolds St. from 7th to James Brown, all lanes
- James Brown from Reynolds to Broad St., all lanes
- 7th St. from Broad to Reynolds, all lanes
There will be no parking anywhere along this route. No driving will be allowed on or around the course.
If spectators want to watch the race, they should park outside of the course and use the walking points to Augusta Commons, which will be designated by course marshals.
