Sacred Heart Cultural Center is gearing up to kick off the holiday season as they prepare for their annual market and bake sale on Thursday, Nov. 21.
With a day of shopping and entertainment, downtown Augusta’s cultural center, located at 1301 Greene St., will feature over a dozen local vendors from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
In addition to a Santa photo-op, guests can enjoy lunch, meet local authors, listen to special guest speakers and live music, while exploring the event’s popular bake sale.
“With new extended hours, the annual Sacred Heart Holiday Market is sure to get you into the holiday spirit,” stated a press release from Sacred Heart.
Vendors will include: Billue Farms, Buona Café, Christmas Toppers by Julia Griffin, Finn’s Family Crafts, Guild of Sacred Heart Bake Sale, Handcrafted Cutting Boards, Hilltop Embroidery, Interiors by Ivy Hill, Orange Otter Toys, Paws and Claws Dog Treats, The Prepared Parlor, Raynell Farms, Reflections Candle Company, Sacred Heart Gift Shop, Saltbox Pens, Senn Designs, Stacey Vincenzetti Designs and The Soda Well.
Interested parties are encouraged to pre-order a boxed lunch and dinner casserole for pick up the day of the event.
For $14, lunch options will include a turkey, ham, roast beef or veggie sandwich, chips, fruit, a drink, and choice of cookie or brownie.
Casserole prices will vary depending on size – $16 for a small portion (2-3 servings) or $32 for a large (4-5 servings). Casseroles options include baked ziti, chicken marsala or shepherd’s pie.
