Safety inspections performed at a Columbia County apartment complex

Columbia County inspectors conducted safety inspections at a local apartment complex off Washington Road Friday.

Inspectors were at Clara Point Apartments, previously known as Applecross Apartments, is located at 300 Applecross Drive.

According to Columbia County Public Relations Manager Cassidy Harris, live safety inspections were conducted this morning inside the apartments where renters would let them enter. The report is expected to be ready by next week.

This property is owned by Joe Mullins, a resident of Columbia County and Flagler County Commission Chair.
