School update for Jan. 22

With the cold weather on Wednesday, Jan. 22 following the inclement weather on Tuesday, several schools have announced changes to plan.

Columbia County

Columbia County schools has closed school on Wednesday, Jan. 22 due to inclement weather.

Richmond County

Richmond County School System will have an e-learning day on Wednesday, Jan. 22.

Aiken County

Aiken County Public School District will have a learn from home day on Wednesday, Jan. 22. Student e-learning will be available online, and teachers are available for support if students have any questions, difficulty, or need assistance with their e-learning assignments.

McDuffie County

The McDuffie County School System will have a learn from home day on Wednesday, Jan. 22. Students received their assignments before leaving on Tuesday.

Augusta Tech

Augusta Tech will have a virtual learning day on Wednesday, Jan. 22.

USC Aiken

USC Aiken will be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 22.

Aiken Tech

Aiken Tech will be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 22.

Augusta University

Augusta University in-person classes will be remote on Wednesday, Jan. 22.
